Closed

Car Wash Tapes is officially no longer taking orders via this page.  You may continue to contact us at carwashtapes@gmail.com for info on any possible remaining stock, but almost everything remaining has been given away or delivered to the artists.  For those who have made purchases, thank you very much and your support has always been appreciated.

As of 1/20/13, I will no longer accept orders from outside the USA until I can get a better handle on the new postage rates.  Prices for international shipping are going way up.

- Andrew Scott Young and Ben Sefrna
- Noga Vespereen Tempistor
- Sigulda and Derek Rogers

Changes

Some minor changes to the ol' blogspot here:

1) Check the tabs above for the new shopping cart system on the ordering page! No more having to email for availability.  It's still in flux right now but there are buttons you can click.  Let me know if you have any problems.

2) I've moved the Discography page to a separate tab so I can use this as more of a real news feed, including actual release announcements!  There's going to be a big one soon so stay tuned!

Milwaukee Press

Car Wash Tapes is getting some press in Milwaukee's Third Coast Digest regarding Battleship's Milwaukee gig: http://thirdcoastdigest.com/2010/06/piss-piss-piss-moan-moan-moanfahri-and-more-at-the-borg-ward/

"Chicago-based Battleship consists of Zachary Mark and Jeff Miliam and describes their sound as "dark drones with a hint of noise," although they do contend that describing their auditory effect is difficult. This stop on their brief tour is in support of their debut cassette "Transhumanist" which has been put out on the Car Wash Tapes label (which is run by Zach)."
